The Archa Theatre scores in Europe

The Archa Theatre, which has been cooperating with numerous international partners, has received grant support from the European Commission from the Culture program (2007-2013). As a representative of the Czech Republic, Archa will be involved in important European cooperation with two long-term projects in 2012 - 2017. The supported project called House on Fire will be created with partners from Portugal, Norway, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, Austria and Poland. Another successful project is Theatron with partners from Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Great Britain and France.

But the biggest success so far is the support for the Karaoke Europe project with the Archa Theatre as initiator and coordinator. It will be created with partners from the Netherlands, Slovakia and Hungary.

The Archa Theatre, which since its foundation in 1994 has been bringing leading European theatre and dance companies and artists to the Czech Republic, considers the acquisition of the grant as a major success and promise of extended cultural engagement on the part of Czech artists in Europe.
