Patti Smith – Horses 40 Years
Forty years after the release of her ground-breaking album Horses, Patti Smith is back on touring.
The album was released in 1975, and has since become frequently lauded as one of the greatest albums in history.
Smith points out that her band still features her longtime collaborators guitarist Lenny Kaye and drummer Jay Dee Daugherty, who both played on Horses, as well as bassist Tony Shanahan, with whom she's played since her return to the stage in the mid-Nineties.
