HaDivadlo – Sláva Daubnerová and company: Twilight of the Males

A visual movement performance about men in the modern age.

 

Around the time when we started thinking about masculinity there was a short report in the news. Under the influence of synthetic oestrogen from hormonal birth control, passed from female urine into the drinking water, the males of many natural species start to change into females. Is this a comic sci-fi scenario or are animal and human males really becoming an endangered species? What are men like in the 21st century? What demands are placed on them under the influence of mass feminization? And what do they really want? What are the last islands of freedom where it's still cool to be a man?
