AKCENT 2012 / Opening of the festival: vernissage of photography exhibit I Human

A unique cycle of photographs created by residents of housing shelters for people waiting for asylum in the Czech Republic. The authors of the photographs received a camera and the task of finding a pictorial way of answering the question: Who are we? For legal reasons the rules of the assignment did not permit shots of the faces of the authors or their colleagues. The result is a series of images that take the viewer deep into stories that are sometimes cruel and at other times are a poetic view of the relationship of the individual to society.
