AKCENT 2011 - How does one create a symphony in three hours? – a music workshop with Michael Romanyshyn
This workshop is intended for musicians, performers, and everyone who is interested in the creation of a joint musical work. The starting point for the work will be the structure of a symphony with four movements. This joint three-hour effort will result in a new short symphonic work.
Your level of musical education or the level at which you can play a musical instrument is not important for achieving this goal! What is important is your interest in listening, sharing and playing!
The only condition is that you bring any kind of musical instrument!
Michael Romanyshyn is a theatrical practitioner and musical composer. He was a member of America’s Bread and Puppet theatre for 17 years. Romanyshyn works all over the world, with professionals as well as with musicians and theatre practitioners without any professional education.
