United Islands: La Shica
Flamenco outside all categories crossed with hip hop, funk, rock and Brazilian rhythms. The charismatic Elsa Rovayo also does something unusual for flamenco: she sings and dances at the same time. “I don’t want to be confined by tradition; I want to do something that I like,” says Elsa. “I present what I think.” La Shica, the star of the United Islands 2008 festival and the Colours of Ostrava 2010 returns to Prague for a solo concert.
The concert will take place as part of the United Islands series presented by Česká spořitelna.
