The Archa Theatre presents a selection of the best new Slovak theatre and dance.

The autobiographical novel by publicist, translator, literature, theatre and film critic Ján Rozner entitled Sedem dní do pohrebu (Seven Days to the Funeral) has won many awards and is considered the Slovak book of the decade. The story, which reflects upon the death of Rozner's wife, celebrated Slovak translator Zora Jesenská, and the subsequent week until her funeral not only describes the final chapter of their marriage, but also captures the essence of the time.
