Parkin' son | TANEC PRAHA 2013
Giulio D’Anna (IT) works in Amsterdam, where in 2009 he completed a programme in dance and choreography at SNDO (School for New Dance Development). In addition to dance he is a trained alternative medicine therapist and theta healer. Giulio trained for 12 years as a ballet dancer with the Royal Academy of Dancing. In his choreography he is interested in the combination of various theatrical expressions using the “drama of the body”, with the help of which he attempts to transfer drama into the language of contemporary theatre. In 2011 he won first place at the Equilibrio Dance Festival and his work has been presented in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Germany. Currently he is supported by the production house Dansateliers of Rotterdam (production Gianbologna 2012) as well as the AMAT association in his European project for older performers entitled Transparent Boundaries. Giulio also performs with NBprojects (NL).
