Image ! Action ! Situation! One-time weekend atelier by Jana Svobodová

The subject of the one-time weekend atelier will be creative art as an impulse for theatre action, stories, situations and sound.

The starting point for the acting work will be a picture by American modern painter Edward Hopper. His work is characterized by realistic depictions of various environments, in which one or more solitary figures are lost. Looking at Hopper’s pictures one asks: Where are these people? What are they thinking about? What will happen to them in five minutes, in two days, in a week or in a year? How did they get into this situation?

The atelier will be based on improvisation focusing on cooperation with partners in the context of the given theme. The atelier is intended for anyone who is interested in this topic.
