Karaoke Europe Festival | Stanica Žilina-Zárečie: 2'16'' and a Half

The biggest challenge when working with a children's orchestra is to achieve silence. The staging of Cage's 4'33'' is in this sense a higher goal than Bach's concerts n the one hand or Schönbergian dodecaphony on the other.

2'16'' and a Half is a contemporary opera, which was created thanks to the cooperation of chidren and professional musicians from the Slovak philharmonic with humbler expectations. It revolves around a children's portion of silence and children's horrors.
