CocoRosie - Tales Of A Grass Widow

Sisters Sierra and Bianca performed together on the music scene with their debut La Maison de mon Rêve in 2004. Their second album Noah´s Ark was released a year later. In 2007 CocoRosie released their third album The Adventures of Ghosthorse and Stillborn.  The album Grey Oceans in 2010 was created over some three years in Buenos Aires, Paris, Berlin, New York and Melbourne. The creative activities of the sisters last year included the choreography Nightshift and the opera Soul Life, both of which were presented at the Donau Festival in Krems, Austria. Both sisters performed in London at the Meltdown Festival hosted by their long-time friend Antony Hegart and Bianca presented a solo exhibit in New York. In addition to their new album, in spring 2013 they will celebrate the premiere of a production of Peter Pan for the Berliner Ensemble, on which they will collaborate with world-renowned director Robert Wilson.
