Simulante Bande Atelier
The atelier is based on the successful performance Simulante Bande, which is based on the physical interaction of healthy dancers and dancers with disabilities. The workshop is designed primarily for people with physical disabilities, but is also open to people without physical disabilities who want the opportunity to learn more about movement.
Instructors: Tereza Ondrová and Veronika Kotlíková (VerTeDance)
Tereza Ondrová is a graduate of the AMU in Prague, dance pedagogy department. Veronika Kotlíková is a graduate of Charles University in the field of primary pedagogy. They are both professional choreographers and performers. Together with light designer Pavel Kotlík they founded dance group VerTeDance and since 2003 have presented their projects in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 2005 they won the Sazka Award for discovery in dance. Tereza Ondrová and Veronika Kotlíková were artists in residence at the Archa Theatre's Archa.lab from 2009 to 2012. Under the auspices of the Archa.lab they created the critically acclaimed productions Emigrantes (2010) and Simulante Bande (2012), which won the Theatre News Prize and the Audience Award at the Czech Dance Platform.
Conditions for applying for and cancelling ateliers:
a) Apply by filling in and submitting an application form and paying the fee for the atelier at the first (open) lesson or at the Archa Theatre box office.
b) If the payment is not made directly at the first (open) lesson it must be paid at the Archa Theatre box office and confirmation of payment must be brought to the second lesson.
c) Cancellation of atelier midway (after the first open lesson and payment of the atelier) – cancellation fee: 100% of the atelier price.
d) Late application to the atelier is possible. The number of missed ateliers will be deducted from the price.
