AKCENT 2011 - A showcase of Inventura and Normal Festival films

These are the genres that are presented in a showcase of short films from the workshops of the Inventura civic association, which is a platform for the systematic support of the artistic output of people with mental disabilities in the field of film, theatre, journalism, fine art, and music.

One of the most significant offerings from the organisation is the film Earthlings, Who Are You Voting For?, which won this year’s Pavel Koutecký Award. A retrospective from the Normal Festival, which Inventura organises every November, also presents films and videos from mentally disabled foreign artists.

A debate with the filmmakers will be held after the films.
